The game was headed to halftime as a 3-3 tie when the visiting Diablos scored two quick goals just before the break. The Mustangs JV trailed 5-3 until midway through the second half, when a scoring burst put them up, 7-5. A late Diablo rally was thwarted, and the JV won. Record: 7-6-2.
