7v7 tournament seeks players

Coach Scott Mann says that Trabuco Hills will not have a Mustang team for the upcoming 7v7 Tournament, but individual playing opportunities exist for the October 10-11 event. No Fall Ball games are scheduled that weekend.

“They currently have ten teams playing and it has the potential to be a lot of fun,” Mann says. “Basically, a 7v7 game is a shortened field where every girls plays offense and every girl plays defense.”

• WHAT:  2nd Annual California 7v7 Fall lacrosse tournament for boys and girls in association with the Orangemen Lacrosse Club.
• WHEN: October 10-11, 2009 (Saturday & Sunday)
• WHERE: El Dorado High School (1651 Valencia Ave, Placentia, CA 92870)
• WHO:  Girls (Post-Collegiate / Varsity / JV / Middle School)
• HOW: 7v7 Championship Tournament, 4 game minimum, 7+ goalie / Modified field
• FEE: $30/athlete for INDIVIDUAL registration
