Here’s preseason training schedule
Mustangs will start preseason workouts on November 17 (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:40 to 4 pm) and will continue until tryouts.
- All girls interested in playing lacrosse for the 2010 Spring Season are expected to attend if they are not participating in a winter sport.
- Preseason will include a combination of lacrosse workouts and conditioning.
NOTE: A Sports Screening (physical) is REQUIRED to participate in preseason or tryouts. This can be picked up in the Athletics Office.
SCHEDULE? (Tues/Thurs – Upper Field, 2:40-4pm; Mon/Wed/Fri – Gym on your own)
- Week One – Field (November 17/19); 24 Hour Fitness or another gym (November 16/18/20)
- Week Two – Field (November 24); Gym (November 23/25)
- Week Three – Field (December 1/3); Gym (November 30/December 2/4)
- Week Four – Field (December 8/10); Gym (December 7/9/11)
- Week Five – Field (December 15/17); Gym (December 14/16/18)
- Week Six – Field (January 5/7); Gym (January 4/6/8)
- Week Seven – Field (January 12/14); Gym (January 11/13/14)
TRYOUTS? (January 22, 23; times To Be Announced) Please be sure to listen for upcoming announcements and to read your email for more information related to tryouts. My advice for tryouts is to come on the first day in shape (the preseason program is meant to prepare you for tryouts, but it is not mandatory), with a good attitude, and the desire to try something new.
- Official rosters will be announced following tryouts and the official season begins in mid-February.
- This season we will field Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Both teams will have approximately 20 players.
