The Varsity got off to another slow start, trailing 3-2 early in their match vs. the visiting Hawks. But the Trabuco defense began to click — and the offense responded — and it was 7-3 by half. The Mustangs made the run 8 unanswered goals at one point — and then held off a Hawk rally to win the home opener.
Record: 3-1.
Note: Mustangs are now 6-0 all-time against the Hawks.
