The Mustangs extended the second-longest winning streak in program history by outlasting a pesky Titan team.
Trabuco started strong with two quick goals, but the host Titans fought back. Game was tied 5-5 at half. Again, after the break, Trabuco scored two goals quickly — and eventually built a four goal lead. Then the Mustangs stopped a Tesoro rally for their 7th straight win.
Notes: Record is now 7-1 … Trabuco (ranked #7 by O.C. Register in season’s 1st season) beat three Top 10 teams in 8 days: Newport Harbor (#5); Corona del Mar (#8) and Tesoro (#9). … Trabuco now leads the all-time series with Tesoro, 3-1 — including 3 consecutive wins.
