Tentative ’11 Varsity schedule revealed

Yes, school has barely started … yet Coach Scott Mann has released the “tentative” Varsity schedule for the 2011 spring girls lacrosse season. Highlights:

• All-new members of our Sea View League.
• 5:30 p.m. starts for many games.
• Many old pals on the non-league schedule — and another trip to Pasadena!
• Says Mann: “The 2011 Season will bring new challenges and new faces as Trabuco will compete in the new Sea View League. Our new league competition will include Aliso Niguel, Capistrano Valley, Laguna Hills, and San Juan Hills, but we will continue to see many traditional opponents such as El Toro, Mission, CdM, and Newport in our non-league schedule.”
• Six 2010 playoff teams to play: Corona del Mar, San Clemente, Newport Harbor, Tesoro, Mission Viejo and El Toro!
• Three teams never seen before in Varsity games: San Clemente plus Sea View members Capo Valley and San Juan Hills.

• February 26 : Mission Viejo (scrimmage) at MVHS (Time TBD)
• March 5: Rose Bowl Tournament at Pasadena (all day)
• March 8: Corona del Mar at Corona del Mar at 3:15 p.m.
• March 11: San Clemente at San Clemente at 5:30 p.m.
• March 15: Aliso Niguel at THHS at 5:30 p.m.
• March 17: Newport Harbor at NHHS at 4:30 p.m.
• March 18: Capistrano Valley at CVHS at 5:30 p.m.
• March 22: San Juan Hills at THHS at 5:30 p.m.
• March 24: Tesoro at THS at 5 p.m.
• March 29 : Laguna Hills at LHHS at 5:30 p.m.
• March 31 : Capistrano Valley at THHS at 5:30 p.m.
• April 1 : El Dorado at EDHS at 4:30 p.m.
• April 5 : Mission Viejo at THHS at 5:30 p.m.
• April 8 : El Toro at THHS at 5:30 p.m.
• April 12 : San Juan Hills at SJHHS at TBD
• April 14: Dana Hills at DHHS at TBD.
