Varsity Rose Bowl schedule set

Trabuco Hills Varsity heads to Pasadena on Saturday March 5 to open its season at the 9th annual Rose Bowl Lacrosse Jamboree.
Trabuco Hills will play in the top-shelf “Red” bracket that features long-time Orange County powerhouse Beckman; plus perennial O.C. playoff contenders Corona del Mar and Newport Harbor; as well as defending L.A. champ Redondo Union; Oak Park, Palisades and La Canada.
Varsity’s first game is against Corona del Mar at 9 a.m. The 2nd round will be at 11 a.m., opponent to be determined by 1st round results. The last game will be at 2 p.m.

Mustang notes:
- In 2010, Trabuco Hills won the consolation side of the top Rose Bowl bracket, defeating Redondo Union in an overtime thriller.
- At 2009’s Rose Bowl, Trabuco Hills captured the #2 bracket.
