Foothill wins Sticks & Stones

Foothill High won its second Sticks and Stones Invitational for JV girls high school lacrosse teams at Trabuco Hills High School on Saturday.
Foothill defeated host Trabuco Hills, 8-5, for the title. Foothill won the inagural Sticks & Stones in 2008.
Foothill first won “Pool Teal” by defeating Dana Hills, 12-2, and Laguna Hills, 15-1, to win the pool. Dana Hills and Laguna Hills finished 1-1 in the pool; La Canada went 0-2.
Foothill then defeated Tesoro, 7-2, in the Stick & Stones semifinals.
