Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Varsity, as has been a habit, fell behind early to host Laguna Hills in a match between the Sea View League leaders. The Mustangs trailed the Hawks, 7-3, at half (Goals by Lizzie Moore, two and Taylor Nunez.)
Trabuco Hills’ second half rally — which also as become a habit — produced 23 shots on goals and 7 goals (Nunez (twice), Sohee Ki, Lexi Witkin (twice), Jessie Papageorge’s and Moore.) But the Mustangs could never get closer than one goal.
Notes: Goalie Alyssa Ransom had seven saves in the loss. … Mustangs have lost two in a row and three of four. … Mustangs have outscored opponents, 54-39, in the second half this season. … This was the program’s first loss to Laguna Hills in seven games.
