Volunteer meeting June 1
- What? Final meeting to wrap up our current season before we head into summer.
- When? Wednesday, June 1, 2011 7:00pm
- Where? Round Table Pizza, 27472 Portola Pkwy Foothill Ranch (MAP) Near the corner of Portola and Glenn Ranch Road 716-4222 (Note: Room is free but please plan on getting a drink or a little something from Round Table as a thank you for letting us use the room.)
- Who? Anyone that helped the team — in any form — this past season: We want you! We are going to record as much information about this past season as possible and put it in a notebook for upcoming teams. We are looking for lots of details.
Here is a short list of what we want to record. If you helped the team in other ways, we want you to come and we want your info, too:
Traditions: What has been done in the past and how has it been organized. Such as …
- JV: Hair ribbons
- Varsity: Headbands made out of material; varsity game day shirts and t-shirts for new varsity players
- Team Dinner organization
- Game day setup: Where is the microphone stored; where to get the keys; how to use the scoreboard; coordination of clock keepers and stats people
- Snack Bar
- Sticks and Stones Tourney
- Banquet
- Senior Night: Traditions and gifts
- Spirit wear
- Food Faire (Pierogis)
- Media Guide
- Mustang Club
- Communications
- Website
- Fundraising
Volunteers: What we would like is for you to come to the meeting with something type of written summary of what your or your committee accomplished for the 2011 season. It can be detailed or an outline to be later filled out. The group will add any extra notes to your info and the notebook will be assembled. (This will be a living document that will evolve with our team over the years!)
If you cannot attend the meeting but have info to share, please write something up and forward it to Debbie Fradin (RDFradin@gmail.com) Any information is greatly appreciated. Nothing is too small to document!
PS: Anyone who may want to volunteer for 2012 — or wants to better understand the workings of Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse — is encouraged to attended. Any/all ideas are welcome!
