2011 Rose Bowl, Gold consolation champs!
Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse will make their 7th trip to the Rose Bowl Jamboree Saturday, on the grounds of the famed football stadium in Pasadena.
The Mustangs have drawn another “gold” seeding — that means, the most competitive flight! (Last year, Trabuco was the gold bracket’s consolation champs!)
- Game 1: At 11 a.m., Trabuco takes on Corona del Mar. “Revenge” will be in the air as the Sea Queens beat the Mustangs three times in 2011, including a 1st round match in last year’s Rose Bowl and a season-ending playoff match!
- Game 2: At 2:30 p.m., depending on the first game’s outcome, either a match vs. perennial Colorado powerhouse Denver East or El Dorado.
- Game 3: At 4:30 p.m., a game against the other side of the gold pool: Beckman, Palisades, Redondo Union — or our 241 pals, Tesoro!
Remember: No bus on Saturday. Please plan to meet by the Picture Spot/Bathrooms in front of the classic Rose Bowl sign — see picture — ready to warmup at 10 a.m. Parking will be a challenge with our later start — not to mention L.A. traffic, so please leave plenty early!
