Mustangs to South Coast League

Trabuco Hills HS sports teams compete in the 10-team Coast View Conference for the 2011-2014 period. The schools are split into 5-team leagues: the higher-seeded “South Coast” and the lower-seeded “Sea View” for most sports.

League placement by school varies by sport, and is guided by strength of on-field performance. Lacrosse is done with both girls and boys programs in tandem.

Principals of the Coast View Conference schools had the option to juggle the league lineups by sport after two years. For lacrosse — boys and girls — they have decided to move Trabuco Hills to the South Coast League and move Dana Hills to the Sea View League for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

What does that mean? New league opponents — most of them old friends!

The 2013-14 South Coast League lineup for lacrosse: Trabuco Hills, El Toro, Tesoro, Mission Viejo and San Clemente. All but San Clemente qualified for the O.C. playoffs this past spring!
