Tesoro 6, JV 4

The Trabuco Hills Girls JV Lacrosse team closed league play in a home game against the Tesoro Titans. 

The Mustangs came out fast and scored off a low shot from Jacquie Cronkrite on a cross goal pass from Shannon Smith.  The Titans came back quickly making it 1-1.  Hannah Moller and Kaylyn Voytilla were putting aggressive pressure on the Titans as a tough defensive struggle began to play out. 

As soon as the Mustangs would score the Titans would manage to tie the game.  Both sides locked down their man-to-man pressure and kept the game tight.  At halftime the score was 3-3.

The momentum seemed to shift in favor of the Titans as the second half began.  The Mustangs would control the ball and threaten the Titan goal for long periods, but could not capitalize on their efforts.  Strong defensive performances from Shelby Siano and Erin Beall could not stem the tide and the Mustangs fell under the pressure in a tough 6-4 loss.
