Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Junior Varsity lost their first game of the 2016 season Tuesday night, a 9-3 loss vs. Foothill at Trabuco Stadium.
Trabuco fell behind early to trail 4-1 at the half. Meagan Raft had the lone goal for the Mustangs.
After the break, Trabuco’s offense woke up a bit but not enough. Goals from Sarah Daneshmand and Ieneke Jimenez couldn’t catch the Knights.
Jimenez and Sherry Hsu each picked up three ground balls in the game for the Mustangs.
Record: 2-1.
Next game: Friday, vs. Newport Harbor at Estancia HS.
