8 Mustangs named to All-South Coast teams

Back-to-back South Coast League champion Trabuco Hills placed a total of eight girls on the two All-League squads.

On the All-South Coast first team: Hennessey Evans, midfield; Juliet Mooney, attack; Ieneke Jimenez, midfield; and Audie Shutler, defense.

On the second team: Chiara Reniero, goalie; Kristen Rosenberg, midfield; Lauren Reniker, defense; and Jenna Chu, defense.

Aliso Niguel’s Quinnlyn Mason was named the 2018 South Coast League’s Most Valuable Player and Tesoro’s Leah Olsen was the league’s MVP goalie.

Those are the highlights of the All-League honors as voted by the
five South Coast League coaches. The rest of the honorees:
