ZebraFest 2019

Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse and the Orange County Women’s Lacrosse Officials Board invite you to join us at the “ZebraFest” play day on Saturday Feb. 2, 2019 at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo.

The major goal of this play day is to help train our local officials. Obviously, this is also an opportunity for your program to get some work in before the official start of the high school season. It will be a learning experience for all … with all the new rules coming in for the spring 2019 season!

1. Each team will get 2 games in relatively close time proximity, so it doesn’t kill the entire Saturday of coaches and families.

2. Each game will be 22-minute halves, running clock on full fields. No standings or the like will be kept. Games will run approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

3. The play day fee to help defray costs is $150 per team.

4. As an umpire training event, you can expect a wide variance in what officials work your games — from beginner’s learning the basics to veteran officials practicing for three-man game coverage.

5. Priority for acceptance will be given to teams that register and pay promptly.

PLEASE NOTE: This date is during the high school winter dance season, so you may want to double check your team’s “availability”!!!

PS: Our refund policy is on a case-by-case basis. Request must be made in writing. Weather could limit the number or length of games we can offer.
