12 teams set for 3rd Sticks & Stones tourney

The 3rd annual 2010 Sticks & Stones Invitational — Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse’s tournament for junior varsity programs — has filled out its lineup.The tournament will be held at Trabuco Hills HS on April 17.
The Mustangs (a 2009 S&S semifinalist) will host …

- Corona del Mar (2009 semifinalist)
- Dana Hills
- El Dorado
- El Toro
- Foothill (2009 runnerup)
- Laguna Hills
- Los Alamitos (2009 champ)
- Mater Dei
- Mission Viejo
- Newport Harbor
Last year’s Sticks and Stones (photos above) featured a classic finish as a late Los Al rally gave the Griffins the 2009 title over Foothill. (Los Al had knocked out the Mustangs in the semifinals.) Foothill won the 2008 championship by beating Los Al in the title match.
