Be thankful!
Budget cuts and all, we could be at North Brunswick Township High School in New Jersey! A column in the North Brunswick Sentinel says …
There are no girls’ softball fields at the high school; thus, the softball team has to travel to Community Park for all games and practices. There is no practice football field; thus, the varsity, JV and freshman football teams must practice in the outfield of the JV baseball field. Of note, the JV baseball team barely uses its field due to its horrible condition. The boys and girls lacrosse teams have nowhere to practice or play and must travel across town to Sabella Park every day. In fact, the boys and girls lacrosse teams had to practice in the parking lot of the high school last year because Sabella was booked by recreational soccer every weekend in March.
