Casino raffle needs gift donations

From the Casino Night committee …

As we get closer to the best lacrosse season ever, we need to remember that the district is still facing budget cuts again this year. Therefore, we want to make sure we have ample funds to cover the costs we promised the district after our very successful “Save Lacrosse Campaign” last spring.

So, as most of you are aware, we are going to host our first-ever girls lacrosse Casino Night/raffle on Sat. Feb. 20th. Although the Casino Night is an adults-only event, the girls will get to do their part by selling raffle tickets before hand. (We’ll announce the winner of the raffle prizes at Casino Night; attendance won’t be necessary and anyone can purchase them.)

What we’re asking from anyone who can help is donations.

We need 5-6 ‘larger’ items for the raffle tickets and the rest of the prizes will go to the Casino Night winners. We’re thinking trips, events, tickets, timeshares, sports equipment, dinners, jewelry, electronics, fun items, ets. … Anything you can think of that might be worth a $10 raffle ticket or fun to win after playing the tables.

If you or anyone you know would be willing to donate, please let us know so we can move ahead with getting the raffle tickets printed.
