Trabuco draws gold at Rose Bowl

Trabuco Hills Varsity season will start off with a stiff challenge: playing in the top-shelf gold bracket at the Rose Bowl Jamboree on March 6.
The Jamboree schedule will start for the Mustangs with Newport Harbor (ranked #7 in SoCal last year last year by LaxPower.) at 11 am in Pasadena. (Mustangs were #9, by the way!) Then the brackets get complex, depending on winning or losing, but …
- Mustangs’ 2nd game will feature either Foothill (#3 in SoCal last year) or (Mira Costa #12).
- Our 3rd game of the day will feature a team from the other half of the gold bracket that includes Cate (#3 in 2009); out tollway rivals Tesoro (#6); Redondo Union (#10) and Patrick Henry.
Says Coach Scott Mann: “Definitely an honor to be placed so high and we will prepare for the challenge.”
Note: Trabuco Hills won the green bracket at the 2009 Rose Bowl Jamboree.
