241 Classic, fundraiser set

The Mustang Lacrosse Club will participate in the 241 Classic, which starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 25, at Tesoro High Stadium.

The event features and boys and girls lacrosse matches and serves as a fundraiser for the organizer, SoCal Lacrosse. That’s the youth lacrosse league that serves the communities that feed students to Trabuco Hills and Tesoro high schools. The 241 Classic features boys and girls players from both high schools.

The event is also serves as a fundraiser for Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse. Here’s the details:

• Tickets to the event cost $5. Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse will get $2 of each ticket sold by our families.
• Please collect funds as checks payable to “Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse” (or bundle cash into one check payable to the team!)
• To entice our girls to sell more tickets, we’ll award a prize of a Flip Mino HD handheld video camera among those ticket sellers based on the number of tickets sold. (So, the more you sell, the better your chance for a nice “Thank You” gift!)
• Tickets will be handed out at Monday’s practice.
• To qualify for our prize, unsold tickets and checks must be delivered back to Mustang Lacrosse by Tuesday, Feb. 21. (Collection details to be determined!)

FYI: The Mustang Club lineup for the 241 Classic will be selected when our coaching situation is confirmed. We hope as many Mustang families as possible will attend regardless of who is playing that night.
