Varsity out of O.C. Top 10

Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Varsity (3-2) fell out of the Orange County Top 10 in this week’s OC US Lacrosse coaches’ poll.

The Mustangs will have solid chances to get back in — as their schedule includes four of the Top 10, including one this week!

Here’s the latest rankings — previous rank in parentheses — and how these teams figure in the Trabuco Hills schedule:

5. CdM (6) — defeated Trabuco Hills twice.
6. El Toro (4) — visits Trabuco Hills April 8.
7. Newport Harbor (8) — hosts Trabuco Hills Thursday.
8. Tesoro (9) — visits Trabuco Hills March 25.
9. J Serra (Not)
10. El Dorado (Not) — hosts Trabuco Hills April 1.

“The Girls Top 10 didn’t have the same dramatic changes as the boys did but welcomed two newcomers to the list. J Serra and El Dorado entered in the 9th and 10th spot respectively. This week’s key match ups will be St. Marg’s @ Santa Margarita in a early Trinity League match up along with Newport @ Beckman ; El Toro @ Tesoro and then on the 19th – Sat at Beckman HS – the OC Invitational takes place with Los Al, Foothill, El Toro, Beckman and CDM face off against the #1 team in CA. – Danville – Monte Vista, Coronado and La Costa Canyon. All of teams are ranked in the Top 15 in the State!”
