Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Junior Varsity used three goals in the first half’s final minute to cruise to a 13-4 win over visiting Aliso Niguel.
The Mustangs lead 4-1 (two goals by Becca Ransom; one each by Hope Dodd and Sara Kleinbart) as intermission approached. Then Megan McIntyre, Peyton Nunez and Melanie Leong scored within 45 seconds to create a 7-1 lead at break.
After halftime, Dodd added three more goals, Kleinbart one more — plus Delaney Shelton and Kelsey Tapia scored — for the first JV win of 2011.
Notes: Cyrena Malkowski had 15 saves in the win. … The JV’s three “younger sisters” — Ranson, Nunez and Leong — all scored for the second time this season.
