Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Varsity got goals from 12 different players and — after a sluggish start — cruised to a 19-7 win over host Dana Hills.
The Mustangs quickly grabbed a 4-1 lead. but thenlet the Dolphins back into the game with two goals to make it 4-3. But Trabuco Hills outscored Dana Hills, 10-1, to finish the half and essentially ice the last game before Spring Break.
Notes: Mustang scorers were Lizzie Moore (5), Taylor Nunez (2), Jessie Papageorge’s (2), Hannah Redwine (2), Sohee Ki, Lexi Witkin, Rachel Lansner, Justine Tobias, Kathy Noyes, Alyssa Ransom, Danielle Leong and Michelle Vargas. … Papegeorge’s and Moore each had 4 assists. … Witkin had 5 ground balls … Jessie Vuozzo had 7 saves.
