Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse’s JV’s six-game winning streak ended harshly, as visiting Foothill beat the Mustangs, 16-4.
The Knights dominated the first half, rolling out to a 10-0 advantage at break. The Mustangs got two quick goals after the break (Hope Dodd and Melanie Leong) but that rally fizzled as Foothill soon got its own two scores. Becca Ranson and Jackie Huse also scored for the Mustangs.
Notes: Cyrena Malkowski had 11 saves. … The Mustangs also lost to a Foothill team in the Sticks & Stones championship game in March.
Record: 13-4-1
Next: Host Laguna Hills, April 26. The two teams tied, 9-9, earlier this season.
