Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse’s JV team open its Surf City Invitational in Huntington Beach with a tough draw in the “Gold” bracket, Los Alamitos’ JV team.
The Griffins lived up to their billing, and raced to a 6-0 halftime lead. Hope Dodd and Megan McIntyre each scored two goals for the Mustangs after intermission, but that wasn’t enough to avoid an 11-4 defeat.
Notes: Mustangs had beaten the Los Al frosh/soph team twice earlier this season.
Record: 15-5-1
