JV 10, El Toro 2

Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse JV won their first game of the season, topping El Toro, 10-2, at Los Alisos Intermediate.

Carolyn Rabourn gave the Mustangs (1-1) a quick 1-0 lead. After El Toro tied the match, two goals by Delaney Shelton and one from Hannah Kleinbart put Trabuco JV up 4-1 at the break.

When play resumed, a pair of goals by Cheyenne Ochoa and Shelton gave the Mustangs a 6-1 advantage. El Toro responded with a goal, but Trabuco finished off the host Chargers with the game’s last four scores: one by Monica Gascon; two more from Shelton; and another from Kleinbart.

Notes: Goalie Sam Ransom picked up the win.
