Varsity 19, San Juan Hills 3
Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Varsity had an easy time with San Juan Hills, scoring the game’s first nine goals en route to a 19-3 Sea View League win.
The Mustangs were up 6-0 within seven minutes on goals by Hannah Redwine, Hope Dodd, Rachel Lansner, Justine Tobias and two from Jessie Papageorge’s. A San Juan timeout didn’t stop the Trabuco advance, as goals by Lexi Witkin, Dodd and Melanie Leong made it 9-0 before the Stallions first scored. Goals by Megan McIntyre, Jackie Huse and Becca Ransom came just before half –as did another San Juan score. At the break it was 12-2.
In the second half, the Mustangs got goals from Dodd (two), McIntyre, Huse, Alex Miller, Brittany Tran and Alyssa Ransom.
Notes: Mustangs got scores from 13 different players … Dodd picked up four ground balls; Alyssa Ransom had four draw controls.
