Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse JV opened their final day of the 2012 season with a 6-5 loss to Tesoro at Lax-a-Palooza at Laguna Hills HS on Saturday.
The Mustangs trailed 3-1 at half with Monica Gascon scoring the goal. two goals by Kelsey Tapia and one by Becca Haggard helped create a 4-4 tie. But Tesoro scored 2 of the last 3 goals — Marina Sandoval for the Mustangs — to win the first-round match.
Notes: Kaelyn Green had 10 saves … Haggard had 7 ground ball pickups. … Courtney Tveit had 3 takeaways.
