The final Sticks & Stones game for the Trabuco Girls JV Lacrosse team was a matchup against the Corona Del Mar Sea Queens B team.
When it comes to Surf and Turf the girls showed that Mustangs rule the land. Fresh off a loss to Foothill, the Mustangs came out of the gate in a whirlwind of offensive firepower. The Sea Queens could not match the aggressive speed of the Mustangs and were truly a fish out of water.
Irene Petruzzi and Shannon Smith dominated on offense and were unmatched as they charged through the Sea Queens and unleashed a frenzy of scoring. The final score was 10-2 to cap off a fantastic tournament for the Trabuco Girls JV team. They finished 3rd in their Division Pink and proved to be a tough challenge to all they came across.
Goals scored: Irene Petruzzi (5) followed by Shannon Smith (3), Caroline Rabourn (1) and Lauren Liberman (1)
