Mustangs take 241
Mustang Club finished its off-season workouts with a 10-7 win over the Titans at the annual 241 Classic at Trabuco Stadium on Saturday.
Jenelle Phillips had six goals and Melanie Leong added three. Kendall Derbyshire also scored and had two assists. Madison Dumond picked up five ground balls. Jackie Huse had 5 draw controls and two assists. Cyrena Malkowski had seven saves.
The Mustangs have now won 4 of 5 Classics, a fundraiser for the SoCal Lacrosse youth program.
Mustang Club won 8 of 11 matches this winter including 3 wins at Sand Storm and 3rd place finish at UCSB Shootout.
Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse opens its eight Varsity season on Saturday at the Rose Bowl Jamboree in Pasadena.
