Downey 4, JV 2 (Lax-a-palooza)

The Trabuco Hills Girls lacrosse JV gathered on Saturday at Laguna Hills High School for the annual season-ending Lax-a-palooza tournament.
The Mustang’s first game started off at 8:55 am against Downey. Downey came out strong and played hard. The half time score left the Mustangs trailing 2-1. Trabuco stepped it up in the second half with several take aways from the defenders including Sydney Rauch and some incredible saves from goalie Ashley Bell.
Unfortunately, the clock ran out quickly leaving Trabuco down, 4 to 2.
Next up? Laguna Hills in the consolation bracket.
