Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Junior Varsity defeated El Dorado, 12-4, at El Dorado High School on Thursday.
The JV Mustangs led 5-2 at half.
Eight different girls scored on the night led by Freshman Ieneke Jimenez with three. Other goal scorers included Zoe Cerutti, Kayla Jones, Tori Campbell, Sherry Hsu, Alisa Atkins, Jenna Chu and Sarah Daneshmand.
Goalkeeping duties were shared once again by Hima Kathi and Diana Cendejas. Kathi had one save on the night. Cendejas had five.
The newcomers have stepped up to match the intensity of the returners. This is going to be a great season with a tough match Tuesday against Foothill should test the girls.
