Knocked to the Consolation Round, the Mustangs got back on track against another “Mustang” school — this one from Manhattan Beach. Trabuco Varsity took control early — building a 7-2 advantage at the half — and never let their LA opponent get very close.
Varsity record now 1-1.
Note: Trabuco beat Mira Costa, 10-4, at the 2009 Rose Bowl.
