Aliso Viejo 9, JV 4 (Lax-a-palooza)

Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Junior Varsity opened up the season-ending Lax-A-Palooza tournament at Laguna Hills High with a 9-4 loss to Aliso Viejo.

This first game was an early one in the fog.  Like clockwork, the Mustangs scored first off a Kaylyn Voytilla shot.  Plagued by wet conditions and sluggish game play the girls fell behind 3-1.  Their timing and communication seemed to be in flux but they kept fighting to get back on track.  With renewed vigor they quickly came back to life off goals from Ashly Bradshaw, Kaylyn Voytilla and Irene Petruzzi.  Suddenly, the Mustangs found themselves in the lead at 4-3. 

However, fatigue from a long week of games set in and the Mustangs could not get back in the game.  They lost a frustrating game.

Goal scorers of the game were: Kaylyn Voytilla (2), Ashly Bradshaw (1) and Irene Petruzzi (1)
