Trabuco Hills Girls Lacrosse Junior Varsity’s 11-game undefeated streak ended Tuesday in an 8-6 defeat at Aliso Niguel.
It was a close match, much like one earlier this season where Aliso and Trabuco JV tied, 4-4. In fact, on Tuesday the two teams were tied, 4-4, at half. The host Wolverines were the stronger team after the break and handed the Mustang JV only their third loss of the season. Trabuco had won 10, and tied once, in their previous 11 games.
Mustang goal scorers: Jenna Chu and Alisa Atkins each scored twice; Zoe Cerutti and Shelby Morris had one each.
In goal, Diana Cendejas had three saves. Kaylie Petko picked up six ground balls; Ieneke Jimenez had three.
